Our Story
Our story began in 1988 when our founder, Kari E. Samson was diagnosed terminal with liver cancer at age 25. Finding herself faced with an untimely death, her tragic story is repeated millions of times as ‘healthcare’ fails people who trust it. Choosing a courageous path, Kari opted for the unknown in holistic medicine. In the journey through the unknown came a vision for change. Today, that vision is the AlternaCare mission.
At AlternaCare, we believe it's time health is reinvented by innovative solutions that put Western medicine as a last option for chronic health issues. A paradigm shift millions want, is found in the "Living Prevention Members Club.
Over a decade of research went into developing the knowhow for changed results which is found inside our Private Membership Association that ensures free speech is protected.

Kari E. Samson - CEO, Founder
As founder, director, and Chief Executive Officer of AlternaCare, Kari is a savvy three-decade successful business executive. Her prior successes in business includes services, insurance, and products sales, and as a three decade terminal liver cancer survivor, her vision to build a fresh alternative health system that reinvents health, healthcare, and health insurance holistically is why we're here.
Gregory Lewis - CFO
Gregory Lewis is Chief Financial Officer who majored in Business Administration at the Australian Institute of Management. His professional background includes board and financial management in medical, healthcare, aviation, and financial sectors. Greg is an executive who knows how to achieve financial targets.
Dr. Patricia Knox - CMO
Dr. Knox holds a Ph.D. in natural medicine and is a Doctor of Humanitarian Services, and an Alternative Medicine Practitioner. She is also the educator of the AlternaCare Academy course and the Live Prevention Tips video course, Dr. Knox also serves as faculty at Quantum University in Honolulu, HI.
Jason Levine - CTO
Twenty years experience in healthcare/information technology, Dion is proficient in interface mapping/design, hardware diagnostics, user training, implementing and managing systems over multiple platforms, recognized for providing technical solutions involving interface/data management, networking, software/hardware selection, and systems analysis.
