Healthcare or Health Exploitation?

Healthcare or Health Exploitation? Look at the Facts

October 14, 20232 min read

Estimates say 70% of the U.S. population has chronic disease managed by pharmaceuticals. Is the health care system built on exploiting disease for profit or for cure?

Billions in sales of flu shots, vaccines, statins, mammograms, and colonoscopies' touted as 'preventions,' millions rely on the advice of their healthcare professional using these as the way to "prevent" disease.

Bottom line, if humans are healthy, the healthcare industry does not survive. Thus, it’s in its own inherently self-serving interest to promote illness in the name of wellness.

Also because natural healing substances cannot be patented, Big Pharma has done its sinister best to squelch any and all knowledge and information that come from the far more affordable means of alternative health sources that explore ancient traditional cultures’ medicinal use of hemp along with thousands of other plants and roots that could threaten drug profits and power of Big Pharma and modern medicine as they’re currently practiced and monopolized.

Another cold hard reality is pharmaceutical drugs especially when consumed to manage chronic disease and symptoms cause severe side effects that also damage, harm and kill.

The following facts make clear that corporate health systems are not making people healthy:

  • Chronic disease accounts for 81% hospital admissions, 91% prescriptions, 76% Dr. costs

  • Chronic disease health costs are 5x's more than for healthy people

  • Chronic disease is the #1 cause of death in the U.S. - 70% of the time

  • U.S. healthcare is last in advanced nations at #37 -

  • U.S. healthcare spending is 2x the next advanced nation per person annually

  • U.S. healthcare spending equals all nation's combined healthcare spending

On this blog, we answer need-to-know questions like:

  • Are flu shots dangerous?

  • Are vaccines safe?

  • How effective are statins?

  • Do mammograms prevent breast cancer?

  • Is a 'pill for my ills' healthcare?

These questions and many more deserve unbiased answers. That is the focus of the AlternaCare Foundation.
